Welcome to My Garden

In 2004 we bought a little over 2 acres in the country in Southern Ontario. This web site is a record of my journey with gardening at our home. As with many journeys, my garden has taken many twists and turns, has changed as I have learned more and made new discoveries. I hope you enjoy a little of what is here.

New in 2010 I decided to do a better job of keeping track of my garden activities each year including anything new I might try in my Garden Journal.

After purchasing a new telephoto lens I have been having fun trying to capture pictures of the many birds and other wildlife visiting my garden. In the Wildlife Gallery you will find some pictures of our local animal friends.

Having become used to fresh grown vegetables, our vegetable garden seems to expand every year. Growing your own vegetables and cooking just seem to go hand in hand. So I have recently added a Recipes section to my website. These are just my personal family recipes but feel free to look through them for inspiration.
