2011 Garden Journal
This is my second year tracking our garden experiences by month. I would say that my success rate in recording what was happening, monthly garden chores and blooms was a bit sporatic last year -- this year my goal is to do a much better job. Click on a month to see more details.
March 2011 - Planning and researching new ideas. Start indoor seed sowing.
April 2011 - Colder than normal, spring just seems to be creeping in.
May 2011 - Is spring ever going to arrive for more than a day?
June 2011 - Finally some warmish weather but still not terrific but the gardens are starting to bloom.
July 2011 - Hot, hot, hot. Finally.
August 2011 - Slight relief but still hot and humid. Lot's coming from the vegetable garden.
September 2011 - cooler and wetter with an early frost.
