American Goldfinch
I've counted at one time at least 9 American Goldfinch including several males. They are quite entertaining to watch and are becoming somewhat used to my kitchen door sliding open when they are around.
There are two male species of American Goldfinch The top picture includes several breeding males (bright yellow with a black cap) and I think a non-breeding male in the top left (olive brown back, yellow tinged head). The bottom picture has one breeding male and one female (yellow green upper parts and body, yellow throat and breast).
