The Front Gardens
The Front Gardens have changed significantly since 2004. Of the original landscaping what remains are the Blue Spruce, Harlequin Maple, Tricolor Beech and a few evergreens along the west side. Over the past few years we have planted 12 new trees, installed patios and walkways and expanded the beds, sometimes more than once. All of the trees were selected as specimen trees, planted widely throughout the yard so that even at maturity their natural shape and colours will show.
All my gardens are in some way linked as they wrap their way around the entire house. This made repetition of key elements, like purple foliage of Coppertina Ninebark and blue spruce important.
