An Abundance Of Blooms In July

July is summer flower time. It's time to relax, wander around the garden enjoying the brilliant summer colours and spend some time by the pool or under a shade tree, sipping something cool. Unfortunately July can also mean heat, humidity and often lack of rain.
July brings forth the many varieties of dramatic large flowered clematis, bright pink echinacea, scores of daylily blooms and more. It is a month where if you blink you seem to miss something. From salvia, roses, coral bells and early summer spireas at the beginning of July through to daylilies and hydrangeas towards the end of July there is as amazing abundance of plants that bloom in this, the height of summer. Here are a few images from my garden in July.

My bird garden is definitely at it's best in mid July with Annabelle hydrangea in full bloom, masses of Lilli Marleen roses, daylilies, asiatic lilies and bellflowers.
