Image Gallery - The Garden In Winter
Wildlife is abundant in the winter garden. Evergreens and shrubs provide cover for birds while berry-producing shrubs add both beauty and necessary food for winter wildlife. To help birds survive the winter add bird feeders with both bird seed and suet.

Birds enjoy the bird feeder all winter long.

An interesting looking garden creature! I left my annual spikes in my urns one year as we had an early winter. They look kind of interesting covered in a snow hat.

Hamamelis 'Diane' blooms in later winter early spring although a severe cold winter will kill the buds in my zone 5 garden.

The crab apples on my 'Sugar Tyme' crab apple (Malus sutyzam) put on a winter show while I patiently wait for spring
